In pure lead acid systems, batteries often fail within one to three years, as batteries get damaged by continuous operation at a low state of charge. Pure lithium systems perform much better and have a longer life but are expensive. Initial investment costs for hybrid systems (LE300 and lead-acid) are close to the costs of a lead-acid-only system and approx. 50% lower than pure lithium systems. By adding the LE300 to a new or existing lead-acid battery system, you achieve the longevity and cycling benefits of lithium for a fraction of the cost of a pure lithium battery system.
Priority Lead-Acid Charging - Priority Lithium Discharging
In the charging process, the lead-acid battery is charged first with priority. This ensures that the lead-acid battery rarely suffers from sulphation because it remains maximum possible state of charge while the LE300 provides power to the loads. During the charging process, the lead-acid battery reaches a constant voltage charge, and the charge current reduces. The smart battery system detects this and the LE300 absorbs the available energy that is not taken by the lead acid battery. As a result, both batteries are charged at the maximum available charge current.
Modular and easy scalable to meet your storage requirements
Up to 24 (7.8kWh Lithium capacity) of LE300 modules can be connected in addition to your existing or new lead-acid battery capacity. Thanks to the intelligent electrical design, no additional battery or solar charge controllers, programming, or electrical wiring changes are needed. The compact, 3.4kg modules can be installed separately from each other in small underutilised spaces. Whether lying, standing, or overhead, if space is valuable, these options are superior.

Thanks to optimised sizing and variable installation possibilities, the LE300 can fit into the smallest of corners. Each module is E24 certified, which allows them to be safely installed in automobiles. The LE300 modules have an integrated heater, so the lithium batteries are protected against cold temperatures and perform without any energy losses. So installing LE300 in Snowy Mountains or Tasmania is not an issue!
Plug and play, simple installation, and user-friendly operation
With the plug-and-play design, the LE300 is easy to install and operate by any technically-minded person. Simply connect to the lead-acid battery's positive (+) and negative (-) terminals, and the LE300 automatically begins to function. The State of Charge (SOC) indicator and LED display panel provide valuable information about the status of the battery for peace of mind. Installing Lithium batteries has never been this easy!
